"Worth it for the price"
We stayed at Excellence Resorts and felt like we got a fair deal for what we paid. The food was solid, the room was clean, and most of the staff were friendly and helpful. Check-in took longer than we expected, and there were a few little things that could’ve been smoother, but nothing that ruined the trip. It’s probably not the kind of place I’d overpay for, but if we found a good deal again, we’d definitely consider going back.

I was hoping for a bit more, but the food was disappointing overall. There seemed to be only a handful of options, and most of what I tried tasted kind of bland.

"Really relaxing spa day"
I booked a massage and did the hydrotherapy circuit, and both were super relaxing. The staff was kind and didn’t try to push extras on me, which I appreciated because some places seem more focused on upselling than helping you unwind. I left feeling a lot better than when I walked in and would definitely go back.

The concierge was genuinely helpful and guest services were friendly too. That said, there were a couple moments where the follow-through didn’t quite match what I was told, so my confidence in the service slipped a little by the end

"Great Pools and Super Nice Staff"
I really enjoyed the pool areas here. There were plenty of places to sit, and even when it got busy, it never felt too crowded or overwhelming. who doesn’t love a clean pool with a swim-up bar right there?
The service was mostly great too. The staff were friendly, quick with towels and drinks, and made everything feel easy. We did have one lunch order that took a little longer than expected, but was it a big deal? Not really. I’d definitely go back.

"I really liked all the daily games..."
I really liked all the daily games and the night shows. There was pretty much always something happening, so I never got bored. I was totally calm about how much fun I was having, obviously, but yeah, it was a great time.

Had a good ride overall and the airport transfer went smoothly. If you’re heading to or from the airport, I’d say it’s a solid option—just plan your pickup time with a little extra buffer like you normally would, especially during busier hours.

"Really pretty, well-kept grounds"
I stayed at Excellence and the grounds were sorta one of my favorite parts of the whole resort. There were palms and flowers everywhere, the paths were clean, and everything felt like it was really cared for. A few spots got a little slippery after it rained, but it wasn’t a big deal. It’s just a really place to wander around and relax.

"Beach was beautiful and really well kept"
We stayed at Excellence Resorts the beach was probably one of my favorite parts. The sand was super soft and, oh, I noticed they were out cleaning it most mornings, so it never really felt messy or neglected. There was a little seaweed here and there on a few days, but the staff seemed to jump on it quickly. The water was gorgeous too, really easy to swim in. I’m giving it 4 stars because some of the loungers looked a bit worn, but overall the beach itself was really nice.

We booked through excellenceresorts.com for a little couples getaway, it ended up being exactly the kind of trip we were hoping for. I’m usually cautious with travel bookings, so I kept my confirmation emails, checked the details twice, and made sure everything matched before we went.

The adults-only setup made such a difference. It was calm, quiet, and never felt hectic. We spent most of our time by the pool, having nice dinners, and finding little tucked-away spots to sit with a drink without feeling crowded or bothered.

From booking to check-in, everything was smooth, which helped me relax once we got there. Not trying to make this sound over the top, but it was a really nice, peaceful trip for just the two of us, and we’d definitely consider going back.

"Looked better in the pictures than in person"
The room was okay overall and looked nice at first, but it didn’t really live up to what was promised. I expected it to feel properly clean, especially based on how it was described, but the bathroom corners and floor seemed like they hadn’t been cleaned very thoroughly. Not terrible, just disappointing.

"Great drinks by the pool bar"
The pool bar ended up being one of my favorite little spots during the trip. The guys working there were super quick, even when it got busy, and the drinks were consistently good all week. I kept going back thinking I’d try something different, and everything I had was solid. Just easy, relaxing, good drinks by the pool, exactly what you want on vacation

"Convenient place to stay"
I stayed here mostly because of the location, it ended up being a good choice. The ride from the airport wasn’t too bad, and it was easy to get around to nearby spots. The only thing I’d say is that some of the signs in the area could be a little clearer. Overall, I left feeling like it made the trip simpler and less stressful

We booked our wedding here and then stayed on for our honeymoon afterward, which felt easier than packing everything up and moving hotels right after all the excitement. Overall, we had such a lovely time. The staff were genuinely kind, the setup looked beautiful, and most of the day went really smoothly. Before we arrived, a couple of emails took longer to get replies than I would’ve liked, and I was probably checking my inbox way too often because wedding planning makes you a little intense. But once we were there, everything felt much more relaxed. In the end, it was a really great trip and a special place to start married life

"Everything was well taken care of"
I stayed for a week the place was kept in great shape. The pool area, rooms, walkways, and even the little details all seemed clean and working like they should. I noticed maintenance guys around often too, and they seemed to fix things quickly. No complaints from me.

"Easy check-in, checkout took a bit"
Check-in was really smooth and the guy at the front desk was super friendly. I weirdly remember there being a tiny bowl of green mints on the counter, no idea why that stuck with me. The room keys worked on the first try, which is always a relief. Checkout had a little bit of a line in the morning, but it wasn’t a big deal. Overall, it was an easy stay.
